Acting Rehabilitation Manager - Amana Healthcare
Within Amana Healthcare, we pride ourselves on high quality, evidence based, holistic, and patient-centered care -and our Comprehensive Intensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Program (CIIRP) team act with the utmost integrity to uphold these standards. Patients admitted into our care have suffered life-changing medical events, so this period in a patient’s life is often complicated and critical.
We offer a thorough interdisciplinary assessment which helps our patients understand the different ways in which Amana Healthcare can support them. For aphasic patients, this could be working with a speech and language therapist to learn how to use an augmented and alternative communication device to better communicate their basic needs. For a patient who has suffered a stroke, this could be working with an occupational therapist to remember the sequence and modified technique to dress themselves independently. For a patient following a spinal cord injury, this could be working with a physiotherapist to relearn how to independently sit and balance themselves, or by training their upper limb strength to enable the patient to safely get in and out of a car. For a patient whose medical needs have changed, this could be working with our dietician to develop an appropriate nutritional plan.
At Amana Healthcare, we are dedicated to supporting, motivating, and empowering our patients in adapting to their new conditions with utmost ease. Our primary focus is to make a positive impact on the quality of their lives and enable them to enhance their self-care practices. Through our comprehensive and holistic approach, we aim to make a meaningful difference in their journey towards better health and well-being.
