As part of the initiative, members of the Rabdan Volunteer Team joined the teams and families of Amana Healthcare to paint and decorate the pediatric villas, bringing color, warmth, and creativity into their spaces. The refreshed environment creates a more engaging and comforting atmosphere for young patients, many of whom spend extended periods in care, supporting their emotional and psychological well-being alongside their medical needs. The collaboration went beyond the physical transformation to become a shared effort that blended compassion, creativity, and care. Volunteers joined Amana Healthcare’s clinical specialists to host interactive workshops and therapeutic activities tailored to each child’s abilities and interests. From art sessions and storytelling to music and creative play, every experience was designed to inspire self-expression, connection, and joy.
Joseph Yumul Manalo, Director, Clinical Operations at Amana Healthcare, said: “The initiative reflects the organization’s unique philosophy of care that goes beyond the clinical; one that places great importance on meaningful human connection. At Amana Healthcare, we believe healing is about more than just treatment; it’s about creating meaningful moments and enriching the lives of those who entrust us with theirs. Our partnership with the Rabdan Volunteer Team embodies our shared commitment to creating compassionate, community-driven care for all children.”
This initiative is a reflection of Amana Healthcare’s belief that healing is most powerful when clinical excellence is paired with compassion, creativity, and human connection. Guided by this philosophy, the facility continues to create spaces where care, dignity, and humanity come together to heal and inspire.
